Your personal "Wilderness Retreat"
Welcome to your personal 7 or 14-day „Wilderness Retreat“
in our healing sanctuary, surrounded by tropical nature.
Our two retreat offers, from 1 to max. 4 people, focus on combining yoga therapy and nature activities to help you bring body, mind and soul back into balance.
In addition to the varied daily yoga therapy sessions from Hatha and Aerial Yoga, we move through the picturesque tropical nature of Sri Lanka’s last rainforest by hiking, mountain biking or kayaking. The power of the tropical wilderness will strengthen your body and mind, as well as your general perceptiveness. With the movements in nature and during the therapy, your healthy basic condition will be further developed.
You will stay either in one of our rooms in the main house, which offer comfortable surroundings in nature with a view, or in one of our luxury bungalows, with their own tropical gardens and huge private freshwater pools.
In our panorama restaurant we offer vegetarian or vegan full board. Our carefully prepared and organic meals, prepared according to the Slow Food principle, are designed to strengthen you with healthy energy.
Besides the daily activities, you also have enough free time to relax. Either by your own pool or in the hammock, enjoying the sounds of tropical nature.
We will also introduce you to one of our local markets, where we will shop together and prepare the dishes for dinner in the afternoon.
Day trips (2 weeks retreat) will take you to the World Heritage Site Galle Fort and to the beautiful Bentota Beach on the west coast of Sri Lanka.
You will also enjoy one or the other hiking or cycling tour on your own initiative. In our »Komoot Profil you will find a huge selection of tours that start directly from our property. With the variety, there is definitely something for every taste and condition. Paved paths into the fauna and flora of the Singharaja Garden start directly at our gate.
The aim of your retreat is to learn practical exercises in yoga and nature that allow a deeper connection to our body and mind. The exercises and experiences can later be sustainably integrated into everyday life and your acquired balance will no longer be lost.
