Cinnamon Garden is an extraordinary loft, lovingly built into the rock in a secluded location. A short path of steps leads you up a private hillside to your loft – a place that blends seamlessly into the landscape whilst still creating its own, almost hidden corner of the world.
The huge rock integrated into the spacious, open-plan loft is one of its absolute highlights: it connects the building with nature, giving the space structure and a special, almost spiritual atmosphere. From your partially covered terrace, a magnificent view opens up across the landscape – ideal for quiet days or simply for enjoying the sounds of the wild.
The loft is specially designed for 1–2 people and, with its double bed (two separate mattresses), offers a high level of sleeping comfort for couples or solo travellers. Large windows with stained glass and finely crafted stainless-steel mosquito nets allow the cool breeze from the forest to flow in – creating wonderful light and a natural, pleasant indoor climate, entirely without air conditioning. The spaciousness of the room, combined with its openness to the wilderness, creates a genuine jungle atmosphere, whilst you still enjoy a sheltered, comfortable retreat.
The bathroom is also open to the wilderness via a floor-to-ceiling stainless steel mosquito net – you have a direct view of and can soak up the atmosphere of the rainforest, whilst the net reliably protects you from uninvited guests. Your spacious covered veranda, with a wonderful view over the landscape, rounds off the Cinnamon Garden Loft.
If you don’t mind the short flight of stairs, you’ll find this is an absolute ‘must-stay’. Another flight of stairs leads you to one of our huge natural pools – a unique experience where water, rock and forest merge into one another. Or you can simply enjoy the spacious outdoor shower on your very own private and spacious level: a special feeling of freedom, nature and comfort.
Cinnamon Garden is the ideal place for travellers who wish to stay in Sri Lanka’s wilderness in a mindful, natural way whilst enjoying a high level of comfort – far from the hustle and bustle, close to nature. Your stay includes our shared vegan and vegetarian meals in the panoramic restaurant (half-board). Cinnamon Garden ist ein außergewöhnliches Loft, das liebevoll in einen Fels und in Alleinlage gebaut wurde. Über einen kleinen Stufenweg und auf privater Hanglage erreicht ihr euer Loft – ein Ort, der sich ganz natürlich in die Landschaft einfügt und trotzdem ein eigenes, fast verstecktes Stück Welt für euch schafft.
Der integrierte, riesige Felsen im weit geöffneten Loft ist eines der absoluten Highlights: Er verbindet Bauwerk und Natur, gibt dem Raum Struktur und eine besondere, fast spirituelle Atmosphäre. Von deiner teilweise überdachten Ebene öffnet sich ein grandioser Blick über die Landschaft – ideal für ruhige Tage und das einfache Genießen der Wildnis.
Das Loft ist speziell für 1–2 Personen konzipiert und bietet mit seinem Doppelbett (zwei separate Matratzen) einen hohen Schlafkomfort für Paare oder Alleinreisende. Große Fensterfronten mit Buntglas und fein gearbeiteten Edelstahl-Moskitonetzen lassen die kühle Briese des Waldes hineinfließen – es entsteht ein wundervolles Licht und ein natürliches, angenehmes Raumklima, ganz ohne Klimaanlage. Die Großzügigkeit des Raumes, so wie die Öffnung zur Wildnis, verbinden sich zu einem echten Dschungelfeeling und du wohnst trotzdem in einem geschützten, komfortablen Rückzugspace.
Das Bad ist ebenfalls mit einem bodentiefen Edelstahl-Moskitonetz zur Wildnis hin geöffnet – du hast den direkten Blick und die Stimmung des Regenwaldes, während das Netz dich zuverlässig vor ungebetenen Gästen schützt. Dine großzügig überdachte Veranda mit einem wundervollen Blick über die Landschaft rundet das Cinnamon Garden Loft ab.
Wer den kurzen Treppenweg nicht scheut, findet hier ein absolutes „Must Stay“. Über einen weiteren Treppenweg erreicht ihr einen unserer riesigen Naturpools – ein einzigartiges Erlebnis, bei dem Wasser, Fels und Wald ineinander verschmelzen. Oder du genießt ganz einfach die großzügige Außendusche auf deiner ganz privaten und großzügigen Ebene: ein besonderes Gefühl von Freiheit, Natur und Komfort.
Cinnamon Garden ist der ideale Ort für Reisende, die bewusst, natürlich und mit einem hohen Komfort in der Wildnis Sri Lankas unterkommen möchten – fernab von Hektik, nah an der Natur.
